Síntomas:

• Inicio repentino de dolor severo en un testículo con o sin antecedentes de evento que los predisponga
• Inflamación en un lado del escroto ( inflamación escrotal )
• Náuseas y vómitos
• Mareo

Otros síntomas que pueden estar asociados con esta enfermedad son:

• Tumor en el testículo
• Sangre en el semen

Signos y exámenes:

• Región testicular agrandada y extremadamente sensible, con mayor frecuencia en el lado derecho
• El testículo en el lado afectado está más alto
