El médico llevará a cabo una exploración física y examinará el área del vientre (abdomen). En raras ocasiones, esto puede revelar un agrandamiento del riñón.

  • El análisis de orina puede mostrar sangre en la orina
  • Un conteo sanguíneo completo (CSC) puede mostrar anemia
  • Una citología de la orina (examen microscópico de las células) tomada durante una cistoscopia o una muestra limpia de orina puede revelar células cancerosas
