Prevención:
Las personas que padecen la deficiencia de G-6-PD deben evitar estrictamente la exposición a los factores que pueden precipitar un episodio, especialmente aquellos medicamentos que se sabe producen reacciones de oxidación. Se recomienda hablar con el médico acerca de este tipo de medicamentos.
