Leucemia mielógena aguda - Symptom

Signos y exámenes:

El médico llevará a cabo un examen físico. Puede haber signos de inflamación del bazo, del hígado o de los ganglios linfáticos.

Un hemograma o conteo sanguíneo completo (CSC) muestra anemia y un número de plaquetas bajo, mientras que un conteo de glóbulos blancos sanguíneos puede ser alto, bajo o normal.

El aspirado medular mostrará si hay algunas células leucémicas.

Si el médico sabe que uno tiene este tipo de anemia, se llevarán a cabo exámenes adicionales para determinar el tipo específico de LMA. Existen 8 subtipos de leucemia mielógena aguda, los cuales van desde M0 hasta M7, sobre la base de cuáles células sanguíneas son anormales.
