Leucemia mielógena aguda

SÃntomas:
- PerÃodos menstruales anormales
- Hemorragia nasal
- EncÃas sangrantes
- Formación de hematomas
- Dolor y sensibilidad ósea
- Fatiga
- Fiebre
- Palidez
- Inflamación de las encÃas (poco común)
- Dificultad para respirar que empeora con el ejercicio
- Erupción o lesión de la piel
- Pérdida de peso
Signos y exámenes:
El médico llevará a cabo un examen fÃsico. Puede haber signos de inflamación del bazo, del hÃgado o de los ganglios linfáticos.
Un conteo sanguÃneo completo ( CSC ) muestra anemia y un número de plaquetas bajo, mientras que un conteo de glóbulos blancos sanguÃneos puede ser alto, bajo o normal.
Una aspiración de médula ósea muestra si hay algunas células leucémicas.
Si el médico sabe que la persona tiene este tipo de anemia, se llevarán a cabo exámenes adicionales para determinar el tipo especÃfico de LMA. Existen 8 subtipos de leucemia mielógena aguda, los cuales van desde M0 hasta M7, sobre la base de cuáles células sanguÃneas son anormales.
