Peste

SÃntomas:
Los sÃntomas de la peste bubónica aparecen súbitamente, en general después de 2 a 5 dÃas de exposición a la bacteria y abarcan:
- Fiebre alta

Inflamación lisa y dolorosa de los ganglios linfáticos llamada
buba
- que se presenta sobre todo en la ingle, pero también se puede dar en las axilas o el cuello
- se puede presentar dolor en el área antes de la inflamación.
- EscalofrÃos
- Sensación de indisposición general ( malestar general )
- Dolor muscular
- Dolor de cabeza intenso
- Convulsiones
Los sÃntomas de la peste pulmonar aparecen súbitamente, de manera caracterÃstica de 2 a 3 dÃas después de la exposición y abarcan:
- Tos intensa
- Esputo sanguinolento y espumoso
- Dificultad respiratoria
La peste septicémica puede causar la muerte incluso antes de que se presenten sÃntomas, los cuales pueden abarcar:
- Dolor abdominal
- Problemas con la coagulación de la sangre
- Diarrea
- Fiebre
- Presión arterial baja
- Náuseas
- Insuficiencia de órganos
- Vómitos
