Enteritis por criptosporidio - Síntomas

Cryptosporidiosis

Síntomas:

  • Cólicos abdominales
  • Malestar general
  • Desnutrición y pérdida de peso (en casos severos)
  • Náuseas
  • Diarrea acuosa, generalmente en un gran volumen y muchas veces al día

Signos y exámenes:

  • Examen de anticuerpos para ver si el criptosporidio está en las heces
  • Biopsia intestinal (raro)
  • Tinción especial de las heces (llamada tinción AFB)
  • Examen de huevos y parásitos en las heces usando un microscopio
