Candidiasis bucal - Symptom

Candidosis oral; Candidiasis oral; Estomatitis candidósica; Infección micótica de la boca; Cándida oral

Síntomas:

La candidiasis bucal aparece como lesiones aterciopeladas y blanquecinas en la boca y en la lengua. Debajo de este material blanquecino, hay tejido enrojecido que puede sangrar fácilmente. Las lesiones pueden aumentar lentamente en número y tamaño.

Pruebas y exámenes:

El médico o el odontólogo casi siempre pueden diagnosticar la candidiasis bucal observando la boca y la lengua, ya que estas lesiones micóticas tienen una apariencia distintiva. Si no está claro del todo, se puede llevar a cabo uno de los siguientes exámenes para buscar los organismos cándida:
