Chancroide - Prevención

Prevención:

El chancroide es una infección bacteriana que se trasmite por contacto sexual con una persona infectada. A pesar de que la única prevención segura es no tener relaciones sexuales, las prácticas de sexo seguro ayudan a prevenir la propagación del chancroide.

El hecho de tener relaciones sexuales únicamente con una pareja que se sepa que no tiene la enfermedad es el método de "sexo seguro" más práctico y confiable. Los condones brindan una protección muy buena para evitar la propagación de la mayor parte de las enfermedades de transmisión sexual, siempre y cuando se empleen de forma correcta y constante.
