Tratamiento:

Se prescriben medicamentos antimicóticos tomados por vía oral o por inyección.

Expectativas (pronóstico):

La esofagitis generalmente se puede tratar en forma efectiva. El pronóstico depende del problema subyacente del sistema inmunitario que hace a la persona susceptible a la infección.
