Esofagitis por CMV
Definición:
Es una infección del esófago causada por el citomegalovirus (CMV).
Causas, incidencia y factores de riesgo:
La esofagitis por CMV generalmente afecta a personas inmunosuprimidas o con inmunodeficiencia. Esta condición causa úlceras esofágicas con mucha dificultad y dolor para deglutir, al igual que posible presencia de lesiones orales a menudo en forma de úlceras bucales .
