Uretritis masculina por clamidia - Síntomas

Síntomas:

  • Dificultad para orinar
  • Secreción del pene
  • Enrojecimiento, hinchazón o picazón de la abertura de la uretra en la punta del pene
  • Hinchazón y sensibilidad testicular

Los síntomas pueden parecer similares a los de la infección por gonorrea, pero continúan incluso después del tratamiento de ésta.

Signos y exámenes:

  • Tomar una muestra de secreciones del pene y enviarla a un laboratorio para un cultivo o un examen llamado reacción en cadena de la polimerasa (RCP).
  • Cultivo de secreción uretral o análisis del líquido genital para gonorrea
  • Examen de orina
