Infecciones por clamidia en mujeres - Prevención

Prevención:

Todas las mujeres sexualmente activas entre 20 y 25 años deben practicarse una prueba de detección para clamidia anualmente. Todas las mujeres con parejas sexuales nuevas o múltiples parejas sexuales también deben practicarse el examen.

Una relación sexual mutuamente monógama con un compañero que no esté infectado es una forma de evitar esta infección. Asimismo, el uso adecuado de condones durante las relaciones sexuales generalmente previene dicha infección.
