Entre los sÃntomas y signos se pueden mencionar la pérdida de la coordinación, la torpeza, la pérdida de la memoria, la debilidad que empeora progresivamente en las piernas y en un menor grado en los brazos.
Otros signos pueden abarcar pérdida de la habilidad del lenguaje (afasia), defectos del campo visual y dolores de cabeza.
