Síntomas:

Los síntomas son variables y pueden incluir caída del párpado, contracción de la pupila y disminución de la sudoración en el lado afectado de la cara. Estos síntomas pueden variar y también se pueden presentar otros relacionados con la causa subyacente.

Signos y exámenes:

Es necesario realizar un examen neurológico minucioso con el fin de establecer el diagnóstico y determinar si alguna otra parte del sistema nervioso está afectada, para así poder definir la causa. Algunos de los exámenes pueden incluir:

• Ecografía de la carótida
• Radiografía del tórax
