Síndrome de Horner - Symptom

Síntomas:

  • Disminución de la sudoración en el lado afectado de la cara.
  • Párpado caído (ptosis)
  • Hundimiento del globo ocular dentro de la cara
  • Pupila (la parte negra en el centro del ojo) pequeña (encogida)

También puede haber síntomas del trastorno que está causando el problema.

Signos y exámenes:

Un examen ocular puede mostrar:

  • Cambios en la forma como la pupila se abre y se cierra
  • Caída del párpado

Un examen médico y del sistema nervioso (neurológico) completo puede mostrar si algunas otras partes del cuerpo están afectadas.

Otros exámenes pueden abarcar:

Es posible que usted necesite una remisión a un médico que se especialice en problemas de visión relacionados con el sistema nervioso (neurooftalmólogo).
