Hemorragia intracerebral lobular

Definición:

Es el sangrado en la parte más grande del cerebro llamada el cerebelo.

Causas, incidencia y factores de riesgo:

La hemorragia intracerebral lobular puede ser causada por una lesión cerebral traumática o problemas con los vasos sanguíneos, tales como aneurisma , malformación arteriovenosa o angiomas, un tipo de tumor vascular.

Cuando no es provocada por un trauma, la hemorragia lobular intracerebral se considera un tipo de accidente cerebrovascular hemorrágico, el más grave de todos los accidentes cerebrovasculares.

La hemorragia intracerebral lobular está asociada con el gen de la alipoproteína E, que está ligado al aumento de riesgo de la enfermedad de Alzheimer.
