Neuralgia del trigémino - Symptom

Tic doloroso

Síntomas:

Espasmos muy dolorosos, como pulsaciones eléctricas penetrantes que generalmente duran unos cuantos segundos o minutos, pero pueden volverse constantes.
El dolor por lo general sólo está en un lado del rostro, con frecuencia alrededor del ojo, la mejilla y la parte baja de la cara.
El dolor se puede desencadenar por contacto o sonidos.
Los episodios dolorosos de la neuralgia del trigémino se pueden desencadenar por actividades cotidianas y comunes como:
- cepillarse los dientes
- masticar
- beber
- comer
- toca ligeramente la cara
- afeitarse

Signos y exámenes:

Una evaluación neurológica por lo regular es normal.
