Trastorno crónico de tic vocal; Tic: trastorno de tic motor crónico
El trastorno crónico de tic motor consiste en arrebatos verbales o movimientos rápidos e incontrolables (pero no ambos).
Aproximadamente entre el 1 y 2% de la población presenta el trastorno crónico de tic motor. Esta afección es más común que el síndrome de Tourette; sin embargo, no es tan frecuente como el trastorno de tic transitorio.
Los tics crónicos pueden ser formas del síndrome de Tourette.
