Prevención:

La mayoría de los casos de accidente cerebrovascular hemorrágico están asociados con factores de riesgo específicos, como presión arterial elevada, fumar o consumir cocaína. El control de la presión arterial y evitar el cigarrillo y la cocaína puede reducir las posibilidades de sangrado cerebral. La corrección quirúrgica de las anomalías vasculares, como aneurismas o malformaciones arteriovenosas, en algunas ocasiones es recomendable para prevenir el sangrado.
