Abstinencia alcohólica - Overview

Definición:

Se refiere a los síntomas que se pueden presentar cuando una persona suspende en forma repentina el consumo de alcohol después de haberlo estado bebiendo de manera excesiva todos los días.

Causas:

La abstinencia alcohólica se presenta con mayor frecuencia en adultos, pero puede presentarse en adolescentes o en niños.

Cuanto más beba usted cada día, más propenso estará a presentar los síntomas de abstinencia alcohólica cuando deje de tomar.

Usted puede tener síntomas de abstinencia más graves si presenta algunos otros problemas de salud.
