SÃntomas:
Los sÃntomas se pueden desarrollar lentamente, en un perÃodo de dos semanas o se pueden desarrollar en forma repentina y pueden abarcar:
- Dolor de cabeza

- Dolor de cuello, hombros o espalda
- Vómitos

- Distracción
- Irritabilidad
- Procesos de pensamiento lento
- Reducción de la capacidad de respuesta

- Disminución de la sensibilidad
- Disminución en los movimientos

Signos y exámenes:
Un examen neurológico generalmente revela signos de aumento de la presión intracraneal y problemas con la función cerebral.
Los exámenes para diagnosticar un absceso cerebral pueden abarcar.
