Disfunción del nervio peroneo común - Symptom

Neuropatía del nervio peroneo común; lesión del nervio peroneo; parálisis del nervio peroneo

Síntomas:

  • Disminución en la sensibilidad, entumecimiento u hormigueo en la parte superior del pie o en la porción externa de la parte inferior o superior de la pierna
  • Debilidad en los tobillos o los pies
  • Anomalías al caminar
  • Marcha "de trotón" (patrón de marcha en el cual cada paso que se da hace un ruido de cachetada)
  • Pie caído (incapacidad de mantener el pie horizontal)
  • Arrastre de los dedos al caminar

Pruebas y exámenes:

El examen de las piernas puede mostrar una pérdida de control muscular en las piernas (por lo general la parte inferior) y los pies. Puede presentarse una atrofia (pérdida de masa muscular) de los músculos del pie o la pierna. Hay dificultad con la dorsiflexión (levantamiento de pie y dedos) o con la eversión (movimientos de los dedos hacia afuera).

Una biopsia muscular o una biopsia del nervio pueden confirmar el trastorno, pero rara vez son necesarias.
