Definiciテウn:

Es una infecciテウn cutテ。nea que a menudo involucra un grupo de folテュculos pilosos. El material infectado forma una protuberancia, la cual se presenta en lo profundo de la piel y puede contener pus.

Cuando uno tiene mテ。s de un テ。ntrax, la afecciテウn se denomina テ。ntrax mテコltiple.

Causas:

La mayorテュa de テ。ntrax son causados por la bacteria Staphylococcus aureus. La infecciテウn es contagiosa y se puede diseminar a otras テ。reas del cuerpo o a otras personas.

Un テ。ntrax estテ。 compuesto por algunos diviesos (forテコnculos) cutテ。neos. La masa infectada estテ。 llena con lテュquido, pus y tejido muerto. El lテュquido puede drenar por fuera del テ。ntrax, pero algunas veces la masa estテ。 tan profunda que no puede drenar por sテュ sola.

Los テ。ntrax se pueden desarrollar en cualquier parte, pero son mテ。s comunes en la espalda y la nuca y los hombres los padecen con mテ。s frecuencia que las mujeres.
