Infecciﾃｳn de piel por estafilococo; Infecciﾃｳn estafilocﾃｳcica de piel; ﾃ］trax mﾃｺltiple; Infecciﾃｳn cutﾃ｡nea por estafilococos

Sﾃｭntomas:

Un ﾃ｡ntrax es una protuberancia o masa inflamada debajo de la piel, que puede ser del tamaﾃｱo de una arveja o tan grande como una pelota de golf. El ﾃ｡ntrax puede estar rojo e irritado y podrﾃｭa doler al tocarlo.

El ﾃ｡ntrax tambiﾃｩn puede:

  • Crecer con mucha rapidez
  • Tener un centro de color blanco o amarillo (contiene pus)
  • Exudar, supurar o formar costra
  • Diseminarse a otras ﾃ｡reas de la piel

Algunas veces, se pueden presentar otros sﾃｭntomas que pueden abarcar:

  • Fatiga
  • Fiebre
  • Malestar general o indisposiciﾃｳn
  • Prurito en la piel antes de la apariciﾃｳn del ﾃ｡ntrax

Pruebas y exﾃ｡menes:

El mﾃｩdico examinarﾃ｡ la piel y el diagnﾃｳstico se basa primordialmente en la apariencia que ﾃｩsta tenga. Se puede enviar una muestra de pus a un laboratorio para determinar la bacteria causante de la infecciﾃｳn y para ayudarle al mﾃｩdico a determinar el tratamiento apropiado.
