Cáncer de piel escamocelular

Síntomas:
El principal sÃntoma del cáncer de piel escamocelular es una protuberancia creciente que puede tener una superficie áspera y escamosa, y parches planos de color rojizo.
La protuberancia generalmente está localizada en la cara, las orejas, el cuello, las manos o los brazos, pero se puede presentar en otras áreas.
Una úlcera o llaga que no sana puede ser un signo de cáncer escamocelular. Cualquier cambio en una verruga , un lunar u otra lesión cutánea existente podrÃa ser indicio de cáncer de piel.
Signos y exámenes:
La aparición de una lesión en la piel puede indicar la presencia de un carcinoma escamocelular. El diagnóstico se confirma con un examen y una biopsia de dicha lesión.
