Papilomas cutáneos
Definición:
Son una afección cutánea que implica el desarrollo de pequeños tumores en la piel, generalmente benignos .

Los papilomas cutáneos son tumores de la piel muy comunes y benignos que suelen aparecer con mucha frecuencia después de los 40 años. Estos papilomas sobresalen de la piel y pueden tener un tallo pequeño y delgado que conecta la protuberancia cutánea con la superficie de la piel. Por lo general no duelen, ni crecen o cambian, pero se pueden irritar por la fricción de las prendas de vestir u otros materiales. Los papilomas cutáneos son más comunes en personas con sobrepeso o que padecen diabetes.
