Sífilis en etapa secundaria

Aproximadamente una tercera parte de las personas con sífilis primaria no tratada desarrollará sífilis secundaria. Esto ocurre por lo general más o menos entre 2 y 8 semanas luego de la aparición de la llaga original indolora (chancro). Algunas veces, el chancro puede aún estar presente.
En la sífilis secundaria, las bacterias se han propagado al torrente sanguíneo.
