Lesión cutánea de coccidioidomicosis
SÃntomas:
-
Lesión cutánea
de infección primaria:
- erupción papular
- eritema nodoso
- eritema multiforme (lesión en escarapela o herpes iris).

Lesión cutánea de enfermedad diseminada: pápula,
pústula
, nódulo o placa que:
- pueden ulcerarse
- se encuentran con más frecuencia en la cara
- pueden formar abscesos
Signos y exámenes:
El diagnóstico depende de la etapa de la infección (primaria versus diseminada) y puede incluir una biopsia de piel para detectar el hongo en un cultivo, si se sospecha la enfermedad diseminada.
