Pitiriasis rosada - Overview

Definición:

Es un tipo común de erupción cutánea que se observa en los adultos jóvenes.

Causas, incidencia y factores de riesgo:

Se cree que la pitiriasis rosada es ocasionada por un virus. Se presenta con más frecuencia en los meses de otoño y primavera.

Aunque la pitiriasis rosada puede presentarse al mismo tiempo en más de un miembro de la familia, no se cree que se propague de una persona a otra.
