Liquen simple crónico - Symptom

Síntomas:

Este trastornos cutáneo lleva a un ciclo continuo de prurito y rascado:

  • Puede comenzar con algo que roza, irrita o rasguña la piel, como la ropa.
  • Esto hace que la persona se frote o rasque un área. El rascado constante produce el engrosamiento de la piel.
  • La piel endurecida pica y produce más rascado, lo cual provoca más engrosamiento.
  • La piel puede tornarse correosa y de color marrón en el área afectada.

Los síntomas abarcan:

  • Prurito en la piel
    • puede ser prolongado (crónico)
    • puede ser intenso
    • incrementa con la tensión nerviosa y el estrés
  • Parche, placa o lesión de piel
    • comúnmente localizada en los tobillos, la muñeca, el cuello, el área anal o rectal, antebrazos, muslos, parte interior de la pierna, parte posterior de la rodilla y parte interna del codo
    • líneas de la piel exageradas sobre la lesión
    • bordes bien definidos para la lesión
    • la lesión de piel se vuelve de textura correosa (liquenificación)
    • piel oscura o enrojecida (hiperpigmentada)
    • áreas en carne viva
    • marcas del rascado
    • descamación

Signos y exámenes:

El diagnóstico está basado principalmente en la apariencia de la piel y en antecedentes de prurito crónico y de rascado. Una biopsia de lesión de piel puede ser necesaria para confirmar el diagnóstico.
