Candidiasis cutánea - Symptom

Infección micótica de piel; Candidosis cutánea; Infección de la piel por hongos levaduriformes; Candidiasis intertriginosa

Síntomas:

  • Picazón (puede ser intensa)
  • Lesión o erupción cutánea
    • área inflamada y roja que crece
    • infección de los folículos pilosos (foliculitis) que puede tener una apariencia parecida a granos
    • localizada en los pliegues de la piel, genitales, tronco, glúteos, bajo las mamas u otras áreas de piel
    • mácula o pápula
    • puede tener lesiones satélite (lesiones pequeñas al lado de las grandes)
    • enrojecimiento o inflamación de la piel

Signos y exámenes:

El diagnóstico de la candidiasis cutánea se basa principalmente en la apariencia de la piel, particularmente si hay factores de riesgo. Los raspados de la piel pueden mostrar formas levaduriformes, las cuales generalmente indican la presencia de cándida.
