Es la presencia de masas benignas tipo verruga en la superficie de la piel.

La queratosis seborreica es una forma benigna de un tumor cutáneo. Su origen se desconoce y, por lo general, aparece después de los 40 años de edad.

Los tumores aparecen como masas tipo verruga, de diversos colores y pueden darse en grandes cantidades en la superficie del cuerpo. Por lo general son benignas y no producen dolor, pero pueden irritarse y causar picazón . Asimismo, pueden provocar desfiguramiento estético y sufrimiento psicológico como resultado de esto.
