Prevención:

Se recomienda evitar el contacto directo con la piel de alguien que tenga una verruga.
Después de limar la verruga, se recomienda lavar la lima cuidadosamente, ya que se puede diseminar el virus a otras partes del cuerpo.
Después de tocar cualquier verruga, la persona debe lavarse muy bien las manos.
