Vaginitis atrófica
SÃntomas:
- Dolor vaginal, puede haber sensación de ardor o picazón
- Flujo vaginal leve
- Ardor al orinar
- Sangrado leve después de la relación sexual
- Dolor durante la relación sexual
Signos y exámenes:
Un examen de la pelvis revela paredes vaginales delgadas y pálidas. Se puede llevar a cabo una preparación en fresco (evaluación microscópica de la secreción vaginal) para descartar otras causas de la vaginitis e, igualmente, se pueden realizar estudios hormonales si el estado menopáusico es incierto.
