Embarazo ectópico

Prevención:

Es probable que la mayoría de las formas de embarazos ectópicos que ocurren por fuera de las trompas de Falopio no sean prevenibles. Sin embargo, los embarazos tubáricos (el tipo más común de embarazo ectópico) pueden en algunos casos prevenirse, evitando aquellos trastornos que podrían ocasionar cicatrización en las trompas de Falopio. Lo siguiente puede reducir el riesgo de un embarazo tubárico.

Evitar los factores de riesgo de enfermedad inflamatoria pélvica (EIP) como la promiscuidad, las relaciones sexuales sin preservativos y las enfermedades de transmisión sexual (ETS)
Hacer un diagnóstico y tratamiento oportunos de las enfermedades de transmisión sexual
Hacer un diagnóstico y tratamiento oportunos de salpingitis y de enfermedad inflamatoria pélvica (EIP)
