Embarazo ectópico - Prevention

Prevención:

Es probable que la mayoría de las formas de embarazos ectópicos que ocurren por fuera de las trompas de Falopio no sean prevenibles. Sin embargo, un embarazo tubárico (el tipo más común de embarazo ectópico) puede en algunos casos prevenirse, evitando afecciones que podrían ocasionar cicatrización en las trompas de Falopio.

Lo siguiente puede reducir el riesgo:

Evitar los factores de riesgo para enfermedad inflamatoria pélvica (EIP) como tener múltiples compañeros sexuales, tener relaciones sexuales sin condón y contraer enfermedades de transmisión sexual (ETS)
Diagnóstico y tratamiento oportunos de las enfermedades de transmisión sexual
Diagnóstico y tratamiento oportunos de salpingitis y de enfermedad inflamatoria pélvica (EIP)
Dejar de fumar
