El médico llevará a cabo un examen pélvico que puede mostrar sensibilidad en dicha área.

Un aumento en los niveles de GCH puede ayudar a diferenciar un embarazo normal (intrauterino) de un embarazo ectópico. Las mujeres con altos niveles deben someterse a una ecografía vaginal para identificar un embarazo normal.
