Prevención:

No existe ningún método preventivo conocido para esta enfermedad, sin embargo, es importante que todas las mujeres embarazadas se sometan a controles prenatales tempranos y periódicos, los cuales permiten el diagnóstico y tratamiento oportunos de afecciones como la preeclampsia, cuyo tratamiento puede evitar que se presente la eclampsia.
