Definición:

Es una afección en la cual una persona está preocupada por las reglas, el orden y el control.

Causas, incidencia y factores de riesgo:

El trastorno de personalidad obsesivo-compulsiva tiende a darse en familias, así que los genes pueden estar involucrados. La niñez y el medio ambiente de la persona también pueden jugar su papel.

Esta enfermedad puede afectar tanto a hombres como a mujeres, pero se presenta con más frecuencia en los hombres.
