Fobia especÃfica o simple
SÃntomas:
- La exposición al objeto de la fobia provoca una reacción de ansiedad
- Ansiedad o molestia desproporcionada ante la amenaza del objeto temido
- La persona puede experimentar sudoración excesiva, control motor deficiente y frecuencia cardÃaca rápida
- La persona llega a evitar situaciones en las cuales se puede presentar contacto con el objeto o animal que causa el miedo, por ejemplo evitando conducir a través de túneles, si éstos son la razón de la fobia especÃfica. Este tipo de evasión puede interferir con el trabajo y la interacción social.
- Puede presentarse sensación de debilidad, cobardÃa y pérdida de autoestima al evitar el objeto de la fobia.

- Ritmo cardÃaco rápido
- Presión sanguÃnea elevada
- Antecedentes de fobia
- Descripción del comportamiento por familiares, amigos y la persona afectada
