Eritema infeccioso

Tratamiento:

Los niños casi nunca necesitan tratamiento para el eritema infeccioso. En caso de que se presente fiebre o molestia articular, se puede administrar paracetamol o acetaminofén oral (como Tylenol).

Expectativas (pronóstico):

Debido a que ésta es una infección viral leve y generalmente benigna , se puede esperar una recuperación completa.

Complicaciones:

Los niños normalmente saludables casi nunca presentan complicaciones.

Situaciones que requieren asistencia médica:

Se debe buscar asistencia médica si se presentan síntomas indicadores del eritema infeccioso, con el fin de descartar la presencia de otras enfermedades que pudieran estar causando los síntomas.
