Signos y exámenes:
El examen del párpado confirma el diagnóstico.
En ocasiones poco frecuentes, el conducto de la glándula de Meibomio puede estar obstruido por un cáncer de piel y en caso de ser ésta la sospecha, puede ser necesaria una biopsia para diagnosticar el trastorno.
