Ectropión - Treatment

Tratamiento:

Las lágrimas artificiales (un lubricante) pueden aliviar la resequedad y mantener la córnea lubricada. La cirugía para estirar los músculos que sostienen los párpados en su lugar es generalmente efectiva y se puede realizar como cirugía ambulatoria con anestesia local.

Expectativas (pronóstico):

Se espera que el pronóstico sea bueno con tratamiento.

Complicaciones:

La resequedad e irritación de la córnea pueden llevar a:

Las úlceras corneales pueden amenazar la visión.

Situaciones que requieren asistencia médica:

Solicite una cita con el médico si presenta síntomas de ectropión.
