Celulitis orbitaria - Prevention

Prevención:

El hecho de recibir la vacuna HiB, de acuerdo con el esquema recomendado, generalmente previene la mayoría de infecciones por Haemophilus en los niños. Los niños pequeños de la misma familia, que hayan estado expuestos a esta bacteria, pueden recibir antibióticos para evitar que se enfermen.

La detección apropiada y el tratamiento temprano de infecciones sinusales, dentales u otro tipo de infecciones pueden prevenir la diseminación de la infección a los ojos.
