Astigmatismo - Symptom

Síntomas:

El astigmatismo dificulta la visualización de detalles sutiles, ya sea de cerca o a distancia.

Pruebas y exámenes:

El astigmatismo se diagnostica fácilmente por medio de examen oftalmológico estándar con una prueba de refracción. Generalmente no se requieren exámenes especiales.

A los niños u otras personas que no puedan responder a una prueba de refracción normal, se les puede medir su refracción por medio de una prueba que utiliza luz reflejada (oftalmoscopia).
