Prevención:

Muchos casos no se pueden prevenir, pero el tratamiento adecuado de las infecciones nasales y de la conjuntivitis puede reducir su riesgo. Asimismo, el hecho de tomar medidas de seguridad puede reducir el riesgo de traumatismo que puede causar una obstrucción.
