Prevención:

Se deben usar gafas de seguridad en todo momento al manipular herramientas manuales o eléctricas, al estar en contacto con químicos, durante la práctica de deportes de alto impacto o en cualquier otra situación que represente un peligro potencial de lesión ocular. Los lentes de sol diseñados para filtrar la luz ultravioleta deben usarse durante una exposición prolongada a la luz solar, incluso en invierno.
