Quiste o tumor benigno de oído - Symptom

Síntomas:

Los síntomas de los quistes abarcan:

  • Dolor (si los quistes están en el conducto auditivo externo o se infectan)
  • Protuberancias pequeñas y suaves de la piel sobre o en la parte posterior o anterior del oído

Los síntomas de los tumores benignos abarcan:

Nota: puede no haber síntomas.

Signos y exámenes:

Los tumores y quistes benignos se detectan generalmente durante un examen rutinario del oído, el cual puede incluir pruebas auditivas (audiometría) y una prueba del oído medio (timpanometría). Cuando el médico ausculta el oído, puede observar quistes o tumores benignos dentro del conducto auditivo externo.

Algunas veces, se necesita una tomografía computarizada.
