Ruptura del tÃmpano

SÃntomas:
-
Molestia o dolor persistente del oÃdo
- puede ser severo y en aumento
- puede haber una disminución repentina del dolor de oÃdo después de un drenaje del oÃdo
- Drenaje del oÃdo (puede ser claro, con pus o sanguinolento)
- Pérdida de la audición en el oÃdo afectado (puede no ser una pérdida auditiva total)
- Ruido/zumbido en el oÃdo
Signos y exámenes:
El médico examinará el oÃdo con un otoscopio y si éste presenta una perforación, se verá la abertura en el mismo e incluso se pueden observar los huesos del oÃdo medio. En ocasiones, es difÃcil para el médico visualizar el tÃmpano debido a la secreción del oÃdo (pus).
Un examen de audiologÃa puede medir el grado de pérdida auditiva.
