Ruptura bronquial o traqueal
Definición:
Es un desgarro o ruptura de la tráquea o de los bronquios, las vÃas respiratorias mayores que llevan a los pulmones. Esta ruptura también se puede presentar en el tejido que recubre la tráquea.

Causas, incidencia y factores de riesgo:
La lesión puede ser causada por infecciones, ulceraciones debido a objetos extraños y traumatismo, como una herida de bala o un accidente automovilÃstico.
Las lesiones a la tráquea o a los bronquios también pueden presentarse durante un procedimiento médico (por ejemplo, una broncoscopia con fibra óptica o la colocación de un tubo de respiración), pero este caso es muy poco común.
