Ruptura bronquial o traqueal - Síntomas

Síntomas:

Los pacientes con trauma que desarrollan una ruptura bronquial o traqueal generalmente también tienen otras lesiones. Estos pacientes pueden presentar dificultad respiratoria, tos con sangre y pueden también desarrollar burbujas de aire que pueden sentirse debajo de la piel del tórax, del cuello, de los brazos y del tronco.

Signos y exámenes:

Una radiografía de tórax puede mostrar pulmón colapsado o evidencia de infección.
Una TC del tórax puede mostrar hallazgos similares.
La broncoscopia con fibra óptica puede revelar la magnitud exacta y la ubicación de la ruptura de la tráquea o de los bronquios.
