Prevención:

Es recomendable proteger la piel del sol tomando las siguientes precauciones:

Usar ropa protectora como sombreros, camisas de manga larga, faldas largas o pantalones.
Usar anteojos para el sol que protejan los ojos.
La luz solar es más intensa al mediodía, por lo que se debe evitar la exposición a estas horas.
Se debe usar protector solar de calidad, preferiblemente con factor de protección solar de por lo menos 15, aplicándolo media hora antes de la exposición y repitiendo la aplicación frecuentemente. También se debe emplear protector solar en el invierno.
